Sara Syms

Before...

...Sara Syms came to us, she was performing as a local NYC indie electronica artist, in the vein of Portishead. Sara met with Lynn for advice as she felt, as most artists do, that something wasn't working or connecting with her project.

After really diving in and experimenting with different styles and songwriting, lynn found within sara a deep rooted talent and affinity for Americana, which Lynn felt was where she truly belonged.

Lynn went on to write a full album  (Fade to Blue) with Sara which

was recorded at Dreamland Studios (Woodstock, NY). Before starting the production process, Lynn asked sara what her favorite record was and tracked down the engineer that worked on it in order to convince him to work on the project. Lynn gathered live session players for the project such as misty boyce (sara bareilles),

dave eggier (coldly, evanescence), and the album was produced by lynn verlayne.

This album broke Sara into the americana album immediately with strong radio support, and attracting a manager named Brad Paul (ex VP of Rounder Records). thE production of the record was complimented by Gary West (from world renowned American label Northwest Records). Sara went to Nashville to work with publicist Kate Richlyn, and performed at Music City Roots, the Blue Board Cafe, and immediately became the darling of Nashville.
