KIIRSTEN MARILYN – EP COMING SOON!
When Kiirstin came to me a few months ago she wanted to break free from her successful Asbury Park based band "Verity In Stereo," develop a new image and embark on a solo career. I helped Kiirstin find her unique voice, develop her songs and produce a single for her called ‘Dream Intruder”.
I teamed Kiirsten up with producers Brian DeNeeve (from Autumn to Ashes) and Todd Weinstock (from the band Glassjaw) to work the other songs on the EP. These producers turned out to be a great fit for the edgier, retro/electronica direction we were heading. Kiirstin is so talented and sounds like Amy Winehouse meets Portishead. She’s truly like nothing you have heard before and is exactly what the alternative music scene is missing at the moment.
